Participation Opportunities

The Family Institute actively seeks participants for important research studies. The following projects are actively seeking participants. We encourage you to call for more information if you are interested in participating.

 

Research at The Family Institute is conducted under the auspices of Northwestern University's Center for Applied Psychological and Family Studies. The Center is operated by The Family Institute and housed at our headquarters in Evanston, Illinois. All research projects receive approval from the Northwestern University Institutional Review Board to ensure protection to volunteer subjects enrolled in studies.

 

Parent Depression/Conflict and Young Children Project

  • Have you been depressed or down? Have you lost interest or pleasure in things?
  • Has your partner been depressed or down, or lost interest or pleasure in things?
  • Do you and your partner have a 3- to 6-year-old child?

 

The Family Institute at Northwestern University is recruiting families to participate in a research study on the parent-child relationship.

 

Eligible participants will complete

  • Individual diagnostic assessment
  • Assessment of parent-child relationship

 

Participants will receive payment for their participation
