About

Dr. Horvitz received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Studies. Her background is working with children, teens, families and parents. She has also worked with adult clients regarding emerging adulthood stress and new parent concerns. She has specialized training in evidence-based practices and cognitive behavioral therapy integrated with systemic thinking.

Dr. Horvitz has consulted with teachers, schools and Early Intervention therapists. She has experience in working with individuals who have symptoms of anxiety, depression, familial discord and emotional dysregulation. She has an extensive background in working with children and adolescents who demonstrate disruptive behavior at home and/or in the classroom, and has worked with a wide variety of developmental disabilities including speech disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder and CHARGE syndrome.
