Counseling Master's Program Faculty

Our core faculty members include professionals who teach academic and clinical courses, supervise graduate students and guide student scholarship from recruitment through graduation. They meet with students regularly during internships and in small groups to support our program's immersive learning experience. Students also benefit from the clinical experience, research and professional leadership of our affiliate and adjunct faculty members. With the support of these faculty, students evolve into the reflective clinicians that characterize our program.

Marcus D. Smith, Ph.D., LCPC

Dr. Smith graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2009 and earned a masters in Clinical Counseling and doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
