The Family Institute is located at the Bette D. Harris Center at 618 Library Place in Evanston in a three-story building designed to house the organization. The Evanston location is just west of Sheridan Road and across the street from the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
When you arrive for your appointment, check in with the receptionist.
Hours of operation vary depending on the availability of individual therapists.

Public Transportation:
Our headquarters on Northwestern University's campus in Evanston is close to the El Train Purple Line’s Foster, Davis and Noyes stops. It's also accessible by the #201, #147 and #22 buses.
If you're planning to use Metra, take the Davis Street Station on the Union Pacific North Line.
Parking:
Limited street parking is available on Library Place for up to 2 hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please note that parking is restricted on the third Monday of each month from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (March 1 through December 15) due to street cleaning.
A parking lot is located on the east side of the building and is available free of charge after 4:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends.
If street parking is unavailable, parking passes for the adjacent lot next to the building can be purchased at reception for $5 (credit cards only).
