Lauren Miller (she/her) is a licensed social worker (LSW) and a client-centered, relational therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families. Her areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, trauma, intergenerational trauma, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sexual abuse, LGBTQ+, racism/discrimination, employment trauma and recovery from religious trauma. Prior to becoming a therapist, Lauren was a Domestic Violence Legal Advocate and Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor for over 10 years. She has completed the 40- hour Domestic Violence Training administered by the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) as well as the 60-hour Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention administered by the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA).
Lauren is currently a postgraduate fellow with WomenCare Counseling and Training Center in Evanston, which focuses on the relational treatment of trauma.
