Rich Gauthier works with individual adults using mindfulness, compassion, and values-based therapy approaches. He works collaboratively with clients to identify their important values and goals and encourages them to take steps to lead more fulfilling lives. He helps clients develop skills and mindsets to more effectively cope with stressors they are experiencing by drawing on his advanced training in ACT and CBT. Mr. Gauthier is also trained in EMDR, a structured psychotherapy shown to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. As a career-changer with a background in management consulting, Mr. Gauthier understands the excitement and anxiety that can come with significant life transitions. He teaches and encourages clients to extend acceptance and compassion toward themselves as they move through life. Recognizing that therapy can be transformative but challenging work, Mr. Gauthier brings attitudes of warmth and acceptance to foster a sense of safety with clients.
