Sabrina Abbate (she/her) is a postgraduate fellow on the Mindfulness and Behavior Therapy team. She worked as a clinical intern at Oakton Community College treating issues related to neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, and panic disorder while also administering on-call crisis intervention. Prior to graduate school, she focused much of her clinical work on issues related to immigration, displacement, and assimilation. Ms. Abbate has had the opportunity to utilize creative therapeutic interventions to access a deeper understanding of the self. Her clinical interests are related to anxiety, trauma, depression, and navigating life transitions. Ms. Abbate uses a relational and collaborative approach to create a space where clients have the power to enable change in their own life.
