What if my child having a difficult time coping with their anxiety, anger, or feelings of sadness?
Children who experience difficulty coping with their emotions are often impacted in other areas such as home, school, and with peers. This can lead to development of unhealthy ways of coping which can impact children in various ways (e.g. poor school performance, disrupted sleep, unhealthy relationships, fighting at home, etc.) Our clinicians can help address challenges with emotions by giving children skills and strategies to improve emotional regulation.
