Abigail Serafin, LSW (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker providing individual therapy to adults and adolescents as well as couples therapy. She specializes in providing support to clients who are navigating sexuality, gender identities, and/or relationships. Ms. Serafin also works with clients who have experienced various forms of violence or trauma, both at the systemic and interpersonal levels.
As a member of the sexuality team, Ms. Serafin also works with sex concerns related to desire discrepancy and vaginismus.
Ms. Serafin's style is collaborative and relational, recognizing the importance of trust and comfort within the therapeutic relationship. Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and combines aspects of CBT-informed, DBT-informed, and somatic based interventions.
Ms. Serafin attended Washington University's Brown School of Social Work where she received her masters in social work with a concentration in violence and injury prevention. She is currently completing an AASECT Sexuality Educator certification.
