Christine Betsill, M.A., M.F.A., M.AmSat (she, her) is an individual and couple's therapist and a Postgraduate Fellow at The Family Institute. She takes an integrative, client-centered and collaborative approach, fostering healing and growth through empathy, compassion and culturally humble care. Ms. Betsill blends her psychodynamic training with mindfulness, creative arts, somatics and emotionally focused and IFS-informed treatments. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Music and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University. Additionally, Ms. Betsill is a certified teacher of the somatic practice the Alexander Technique. Christine's research interests include anxiety, ADHD and Autism, and heightening embodiment to address cultural biases.
