Pam Martinez is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who completed undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychological Counseling from Chicago State University. Ms. Martinez has extensive experience working with clients dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges and employs a Person-Centered, directive therapy model incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal, Dialectical Behavioral or Trauma-Focused methods to address a range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Grief and Trauma, with an approach adjusted to meet the needs and experience of each client. She is passionately committed to the goal of reducing barriers, improving accessibility to mental health care and providing a safe space of support and guidance to help clients get to an improved level of daily functioning, well-being and confidence in their ability to deal with all the challenges life can place in our path.
